Research/Clinical Interest
Title
Medical Decision Making Capacity in Patients with Metastatic Brain Cancer
Description
Dr. Triebel is a clinician scientist investigating cognitive and functional change in patients with neurological disorders. Her primary research interest is in cognitive functioning and medical decision making capacity in primary and metastatic brain cancer. She has a KL2 grant from the Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) investigating medical decision making capacity of patients with metastatic brain cancer. Dr. Triebel is also a co-investigator of studies examining financial and medical decision making in healthy older adults and in patients with mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s disease.
